Gratitude

Matthew 12:34, “Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.”

I am grateful for so many things, this week it is for the new part time job I have as a high school English teacher. My degree is secondary education/English, however I have chosen to spend my time with our boys and at home. I would not change a single moment, a single laugh, tear, or word.

Now, I am blessed with my dream job. I want to stand in the hay field and sing the Doxology. I understand it now, in a way I never did as a child. The Doxology is an overflow of the heart.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above Ye Heavenly Host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Amen indeed.
