This is one of my favorite words. Grace. It has a softness, it is not a harsh sounding word, even if you try to yell it. Saying the word requires a person to form the mouth in a way that releases sound at the end of the word as well.
Grace. It sets a person back on the right track, free from the weight of previous wrongs. Grace opens the door to the cage that traps you, cuts the strings that tie you down to the very thing that prevents you from moving on.
I have been freed by it and I now choose to give it freely to others. Why give it? Freely it was given to me, so freely I will give it others. It doesn’t cost me anything. I can give it again and again and again and still have enough.
Grace however did cost God something. His Son. Only by Grace that comes through Christ can we give a Grace that counts for something, that has weight, that has meaning.
How will you allow Grace to come into your day, into your life? Will you share it with others?
If you do you will find that it truly is amazing.
