Perfecting flawless

God loves to send us a reminder that He loves us and we matter to Him.  These reminders can be wise words from a friend, a message at church, or a song on the radio.  Yesterday I heard a wonderful reminder that He is caring for me and I haven’t been forgotten.

Through His eyes I am perfect and at the same breath I am being perfected in His image. Odd thoughts that I could be what I will be and not yet what I will be at the same time, I know. But God does not live in our time which is finite and restrictive. God instead works outside of time.  He sees in the past, present, and future all at the same time.

We all strain for something; promises of growing hope, to be free of the struggles, the pieces of the past, longing to put it at the foot of the Cross and leave it there.  No matter our past God says through the blood of His Son, we are now flawless. We are new creations, we don’t have to carry the past with us any more– no matter what others say, God says, we are His children.  Perfected by the Blood.

So, to all of us who are still fighting the dark: Keep Fighting. Do not let the darkness of your past shade the bright future you have because you are a Child of God.  Where God is, no darkness can be present.

If you are discouraged, know there is Hope as we are being perfected.  Just remember, this step of our Faith Journey cannot be rushed, it cannot be skipped. We need it to learn more about the God we love and serve. We cannot arrive in Heaven changed from the inside out if we do not do the hard work needed.

Oh Best Beloved, just know– God is trying to get you to hear His voice every single day.  He loves you so much, you are His priceless treasure.  Keep fighting and remember through Christ you are already flawless.
