One word

Dear Ones, I don’t know what you are facing today. Maybe it’s loneliness, brokenness. Maybe it’s sorrow or loss. Or it could be a sense of hopelessness- I don’t know what it is, but Precious Child, God knows.

I don’t know how to face these moments without Jesus. I can hardly breathe sometimes, except to close my eyes, and slowly whisper one word, Jesus.

Jesus.

The one word that calms the seas, the storms, heals the broken, and comforts us when we call.

Today may be one of the darkest days for you. Please hear my heart and know that I am praying for you. O Best Beloved, you are a treasure to me, more over, you are treasure to God.

Romans 8:26 says, Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.

We don’t have to pray with fancy words, we can utter one word and it will fill the holes with all we need, Jesus.

Psalm 46:1-3 reminds us where we can turn, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah.

Sweet friends, dear family, we are not required to have all the answers. It is okay to be without words. We have only to call out to the One who knows the answers and has the words.

Join me in calling out that name – whisper it, sing it, pray it, inhale and exhale it. One word is enough.

And that one word is everything to me.

Jesus.
